Where's the snow?

So it's been the talk-of-the-town since last week that we were going to get snow today... But we've got nothing! I was looking forward to work being cancelled and snuggling in for another day with my hubby. Oh well, I guess it's ok because this means no delays on the house... And Kaysie girl didn't seem to enjoy the snow's visit in January...

I can't believe that our visit to New Orleans and Pensacola is just next week. It seemed to take forever to get here, but now I'm not ready! The house needs cleaning before we leave, and I hate packing and unpacking. I am looking forward to our housewarming though. I'll be happy to see our friends and family, and it's going to be so fun to celebrate our first house! We were never able to have an engagement party or a bridal shower because of the time comstraints and moving before Matt's first deployment, so this is the next best thing for us... And we're excited! We've worked long and hard to get ahead of the game. There are few people we know who are able to celebrate the things we're able to at our age... Next on the list for me, get through yet another deloyment and FINISH SCHOOL!
