Pegola is complete!

Here it is!  I'm super excited and very proud of Matthew for designing and building it!  He finished staining it last night, but I haven't taken a photo of that yet.
The garden is looking good too!  We've got strawberries!  They're not very big yet, but I'm just excited they're here.
Soon, we'll have tomatoes too!

In other news, I've decided to leave school.  On June 9th I will be a Certified Nursing Assistant II, and I will be stopping there...  For a while at least.  My goal in life was to be a wife and mom first and to be a midwife second.  Right now school is consuming too much my time and energy which should be spent on my family.  Not to mention that here in North Carolina there is no direct entry midwives which was always my intent.  I never really wanted to be a nurse because I just don't like the medical interventions that have become such common practice.  The only reason I was in school for nursing was because of our location.  So for now, I am satisfied with my accomplishments.  Having a GED and earning my NA-I and NA-II, I'm proud of myself thus far.  I know I will not stop here.  Just for now, I want to focus on my husband and starting a family sooner than later.  I hope that after we have kids and move to another state (Or North Carolina changes their laws) I will be able to apprentice with another midwife and fulfill my final goal in life.
